the Motion Social Club

The Motion Social Club started as a newsletter, where I’ve tried to put everything that I think it is helpful for my younger self, as a self-taught motion designer. It’s now turning into a bigger project, so in order to help that growth I started experimenting on its own branding.

Embracing imperfection.

The Motion Social Club is dedicated to empowering motion designers by providing comprehensive resources, practical exercises, and a supportive community. Our mission is to help designers of all levels enhance their skills, gain valuable feedback, and connect with peers and industry professionals.

I’ve started to work on the branding with this main conept of ‘Embracing Imperfection’. To stretch that idea to different angles, while maintaining a focus in type and clear communication.

Building our own path.

Another concept that started to come out of the surface of the projects is the idea that we all have our path.

When nowadays it’s really common to feel disappointed and be hard at ourselves when thinking in the idea that others are way better than us. The fact that we all will walk a path that is only ours comes as a strong way to hold into what’s next for us. And actually go there to build it, step by step.

From that main concept I started to explore it, not only visually but also on how I could be of the most help posting ways that we can build that own path, on Instagram post and of course, on the newsletter.
